Vegas Golden Knights host expansion draft and uniform reveal

When the NHL announced in 2016 that Las Vegas would be awarded a franchise it sent the sports world into a frenzy, due to the casinos and with the T-Mobile Arena being right on the Strip. But with the countless work the franchise has put into leading up to the release of their new uniforms and the expansion draft. So they had a huge reveal for the the uniforms given its Vegas and everything is better in “Vegas” with Adidas taking over as main sponsor of the uniforms after Reebok had that honor since 2005.

Given that a number of the players are relatively no names but the biggest name drafted was that of Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. I was just shocked that the Pittsburgh Penguins left him unprotected when all teams had to give names of players available for the Expansion Draft. Any number of these players may not even make it to the final roster come training camp time, but one thing is certain Marc-Andre Fleury will be the face of this new franchise.
